Dear Reader,
COVID-19 and it’s repercussions forced me to rethink my life. Sitting +12h per day at my desk, scrolling up and down the Internet on my phone to consume low value content and the week’s highlight of having a beer on Friday night watching the latest release on Netflix just could not be it. I literally started thinking about my place on earth, and remembered my travel adventures to Cape Town and Tokyo pre-COVID, which made me feel much more alive than a beer and the latest series on Netflix. I started thinking of all the places in the world that I would like to visit. I figured that 2 years after the pandemic with countries opening up again, it is a good time to travel the world, since I have…
- an interest in traveling
- the energy to travel
- healthy funds enabling travel
- the personal situation – I am single and at least have one big stakeholder (partner/wife) less with whom I need to align.
I picked Southeast Asia. After travelling to Southeast Asia, I figured that all the prior information research cost a lot of time. I would like to share my findings with you, and trust they will save you time and inspire your travel planning.
Share your experience and tips in the comment section. Also, please let me know what details of the country you are interested in e.g. coffee spots, rooftop bars etc.
“Stay hungry, stay foolish”, and keep travelling!
